Bridge Street Market

Located in Bradenton Beach, Historic Bridge Street is one of the most popular spots on the island. While it’s a great place to be any day of the week, it especially comes alive every Sunday in November through April with the Bridge Street Market. Come out from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. to meet the local vendors and enjoy mouthwatering food, fresh produce, unique jewelry and art, and local musicians. This is the perfect way to enjoy the sunshine without being on the beach, and you’ll get to experience a new side of Anna Maria Island that many tourists don’t get to see.

Beach Market at Coquina Beach

Coquina Beach in Bradenton Beach is home to the Beach Market every Sunday and Wednesday from December through April. Start out by enjoying Coquina Beach itself and getting a stunning view of the Gulf of Mexico. Then, come visit the market and grab a souvenir or a bite to eat. The Coquina Cafe offers incredible food, or you can grab something from a local farmer or vendor. There’s also plenty of accessories to look at like purses, jewelry, health and beauty items, scarves, and so much more. This is one of the biggest events on the island, so you definitely don’t want to miss out!

Downtown Sarasota Farmer’s Market

Just across the mainland in Sarasota, the Downtown Sarasota Farmer’s Market has been bringing the community together since 1979. Vendors include local artisans, flower and plant vendors, food and beverage providers, and produce vendors. This is the perfect way to mingle with the Sarasota community and spend the entire morning picking through the most unique wares and sampling the finest food in the area. This Market is held every Saturday from 7 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Bradenton Farmer’s Market

The Bradenton Farmer’s Market is held on the mainland in Bradenton, not to be confused with Anna Maria Island’s Bradenton Beach. This is one of the most extensive farmer’s markets in the area and truly offers something for everyone. Of course, you’ll find the fresh produce, unique arts and crafts, and mouthwatering food vendors that you expect from a local farmer’s market. However, the Bradenton Farmer’s Market also features fun and upbeat music, demonstrations by local chefs, and free family-friendly activities. The market is held every Saturday from October through the end of May.  If you’re an art lover, be sure to come out on the 3rd Saturday of the month for Mainly Art, where local artists will display and sell their collections.
